With racing now held for the past four days on the trot, today sees the fifth consecutive day of competition. A waiting game as the race committee waits for the wind to fill in has seen the fleet struggling to keep to schedule.
Yesterday the Mistral men completed races seven and eight, again sailing late in the day in the remnants of the sea breeze. Current leader Gal FRIDMAN (ISR) has put together a consistent series, not scoring outside the top five in a field that includes some high scoring races for his competitors. The fleet takes a welcome rest from racing today, continuing with two races tomorrow.
