A revised edition of the Mistral One Design Class Rules has now been published. It includes recent updates, that have also been made to all the windsurfing classes rules, for example - amended Advertising Code, introduced an ISO standard for personal flotation devices, re-formatted sections D to F.
There have been some additions to "Maintenance, Modifications & Repairs" - Sails #C.9.3. It should be remembered that MOD has "closed" class rules, where anything not specifically permitted by the class rules is prohibited. In the Introduction to this latest edition:
PLEASE REMEMBER - THESE CLASS RULES ARE CLOSED CLASS RULES WHERE IF IT DOES NOT SPECIFICALLY SAY THAT YOU MAY THEN YOU SHALL NOT.
