It's Tom Ashley (NZL 181) on the top step of the podium Last minute entry Tom is almost certain to take the 2003 Mistral Youth European Championship tomorrow. He is on the come back trail after a 4 month lay off . This success shows that he has not lost all of his speed and will to win... rather the reverse in fact ! Byron Kokkalanis (GRE 8) is now a spent force. However, Antoine Auriol (FRA89) is now on a roll. He scored a prefect 2 today in 2 races and looks secure in second place overall. Victor Moreau (FRA 89) has a consistent if unspectacular day scoring two 8th places ands sits on 3rd place going into the last day. The problem for him is that Marc Riera (ESP 101) will drop a 21st place tomorrow. This will certainly move him up the leader board barring a disasterous last day!
Zofia Klepacka (POL 8) has been cruising for the last two days. This has let Marina Albeau (ESP 5) mount a serious challenge. They are tied on 15 points after Marina's two wins today. Chan Wai Man (HKG 26) has therefore dropped to 3rd just 2 points behind. There will be some serioius racing in this class tomorrow. The question is... Can Zofia find that other gear that she has been using so sucessfully recently Or has Marina now scented victory ?
